Fall Fair

Ah, yes - the Fall Fair. My Fall Fair, as Charlie calls it. This weekend really is one of the best of the year at our home. Thanksgiving and the fair draws together all of our extended family, each and every year. We spend the day touring the fair grounds and enjoying the festivities: tractor pulls, pony rides, fresh apple dumplings, rides (of course!), music, livestock competitions, dog shows, barrel racing, a corn table to play in, the exhibits hall, fries form the Optimists group......and then home again to a house warm with the smells of roasting turkey and a fire in the wood stove. In spite of the cold, it was truly a lovely day.
